Prescreen & Opt-out number to call to request Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion stop sending unsolicited credit, insurance, etc. offers. Option #1 will remove your name for just 5 years... wait for Option #3 which is permanent removal. For permanent removal, you must complete and return the form they will send you; failure to do so will revert your request to just 5 years. Yes, they will ask for your Social Security Number but remember: You calling them is different from "them" calling you. This phone number was listed as part of an unsolicited credit card offer from a well known bank. The notice and info to "Opt-out" is likely required by Federal law, probably courtesy of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (thank you Elizabeth Warren!).
