Microsoft scam (Scam call) reported by Ms. Tii
"Kevin" called n said he was from windows and someone had hacked my computer. Asked for his #to call back and another guy answers n I asked if this was Microsoft n he says no it's windows lol. Stayed on the phone for like an hour messing with him and getting info. It's a company out of Michigan called Booklet Layout LLC apparently they do more than sell crappy websites

The gentleman’s name was Jason and he claimed to be calling from Geek Squad. He stated that he had worked on my computer in the past and that someone was trying to access my email in California. He stated I needed to be in front of my computer. I told him I was driving and would have to call him back. The number he gave me to call him back doesn’t link to Geek Squad and I have never used Geek Squad.

I was contacted by David said he was from Windows. He said he had helped me with my computer before. But, i did have to call techsupport afew wks ago. So i believed him, until i asked how long ago did he help me. He said 2yrsago. He said i had thi then on my computer immed. Because someone was trying to access all my files through my yahoo mail and he had my actual email. I told him id call him back and he wanted an actual date and time i would call. They're very pushy and yes you can tell her was at a call ctr.

Someone was performing illegal activity on my computer. Told me to log on right now. Didn't sound right. I could tell he was calling from a call center. I told him that I would call him back and he gave me this number. Now, I'm here....????

Called to say my computer was hacked showed me what hacked my computer then had me reset my computer then to fix I would have to renew certificate for only $318.dollar For 2 year commitment. So mad I was taken.
