SCAM - FRAUDULENT PAYDAY LOAN (Scam call) reported by


They tried telling me I took out a payday loan from Check into Cash in 2013, the check was returned from an account that I would never use as collateral for a payday loan, then told me the balance was $1500 "after penalties, interest, and fees" I told the person I was on the phone with that, as someone who has worked in collections for years that their supposed penalties, interest, and fees are an uncollectable debt, she also needs to send me the information in writing, and that I refuse to pay any debt for a loan that I never took out. She tried to get me to set up a payment again & I told her that I'm refusing to pay the debt and want to see the original check as well as any information they have regarding it. She said she was notating my account and hung up the phone on me

Claimed I had a Check into Cash loan (Scam call) reported by


They had my last 4 digits of SSN# and referenced an old address that I hadn't lived at for 3 years before the supposed loan was made. I've never had a loan with Check into Cash. I've been dealing with a lot of identity theft the past couple of years and I've found out the hard way how easy it is for people to scam or open fraudulent accounts under your name. Word to the wise: periodically check your credit report and freeze credit if you see suspicious activity.

I told them they had bad information, then I said if you believe that I owe uou money uou can sue me and take me to court and I will be there with a lawyer, and then they said they werent trying to sue me. I had a paydayloan 1 time in my entire life amd it was in 2006, and paid in full. They said my origional amount taken out was $513.50. I told them that was a weird number to request. He kept pushing for me to acknowledge "on the recorded line", that the debt was mine and when can I make my forat payments. This company is a joke. Once you say anything aboit making any sort of payment arrangement, they then can legally sue you. Theyre are tricky with their wording but make your you answer the phone and tell them to send you debt validation. All in all, the guy hing up on me when I told him to semd me proof of whatever he had. The company is aggressive, and have called me 3 days in a row now.they're waiting for me to say something along the lines of "I cant pay until friday". The thing is, the account was paid in full, and way over 7 years old.

calling in reference to complaint filed against me. if I or my representative don't contact them immediately they will report me for noncompliance. Go for it you scum bucket. I owe no one and there is no phoney complaint. Intimidating robocalls is not how we do things in this country. Get a job where you can be proud of what you do rather than thievery.

Got the same call. Dude said I owed 600$ payday loan made in 2012 at "check into cash" TBH I haven't made a loan since 2001. They had me scared cuz they did have the last 4 of my social sec#. I called "check into cash" they said I've NEVER had a loan w/them. This 888# is impersonating loan places

TRYING TO GET ANY BANK OR CREDIT CARD INFO FROM YOU. Said there was a lawsuit filed against me. I spoke to African accent sounding man. I knew there are no judgments as I have credit monitoring or any reason for this action. I repeated 3 times take me of your call list and if you call again I will start a lawsuit against you for harassment. He hung up on me.

Pressed one after getting an automated message saying there was a complaint pending against my husband. The dude said he was from a law office, and cashnet(his client) is suing my husband for evasion from a secured loan. Never took out said loan and dude got nasty when we asked why it was never sent to collections and never showed up on the credit report.
