They are driving me crazy (Debt collector) reported by


Reading the stories on this site I finally found out who is driving me crazy. I made the mistake of buying a TV through this company at Kmart. Even when I make the monthly payment they call me five or six times dayly. They ask me to participate in a short survey. Even thou the phone number is blocked they are able to leave messages in my voicemail. I've been thinking of changing my phone number. I'm going crazy.

They call me 4 to 5 times a day and only rarely leave a voicemail about a survey about customer satisfaction or something? I only recently found it was linked to my purchase through WhyNotLeaseIt. This caller will not leave me alone. I never answer and they never stop calling!

They called me 6 times today during work. I have to have my phone on in case of emergencies. I work on a job site and all my friends and family know to not until after 5pm....only call me before if it's an emergency because I have kids and if anything bad happens I need to know. So anyways it's from a company called whynotleaseit, I purchased some kitchen item like pots/pans, I have been late once and this is crazy they called me days back to back 4 to 6 times each day during working hours driving me crazy. Everytime I stopped to answer all my coworkers looked at me like WTF. We work hard and cant be disturbed because we work with hard dead lines.

Call from Why Lease It (Debt collector) reported by


Received 3 calls within a few hours (didn’t answer it and no msg left) from WhyLeaseIt after purchasing a fridge and dishwasher at Sears. Called back when I found out who it was because they ran my card 4 days early and I wanted to know why. Fortunately I got paid early so they had their money but was insistant on getting $20 for running the card again. I gave them their $20 to shut them up then said I wanted the charge reversed because it wasnt my fault. They gave me a $20 credit towards my next payment. I’m going to pay this stuff off ASAP and never use them again. I can see them annoying me at the slightest thing and now I don’t trust them.

These people called so much that I actually called the number back. after a little research they are a debt collector that is commonly used for Sears and Kmart stores. So if you are ever offered this, never sign for it because they will bug you to death and it's not a good deal. and as we've seen they will call constantly. This is a new phone number for me, and it belonged to someone else. the gentleman I spoke with was nice enough, and I think they removed the number since they realized I am not going to pay for someone else I've never met! You may try calling them if you don't actually owe them the money.
