3rd Party Extended Warranty (Unsolicited call) reported by


They called claiming to be from Gerhard's appliances...offering an extended warranty on a sub-zero ice maker that I purchased from Gerhard's. I see from other reviews that they call claiming to be from various different companies. They did know what I purchased and when I bought it; but claiming to be from the store where I purchased it is deceitful. If they are truly selling legitimate extended warranties, they should say so, and acknowledge they they are a 3rd party company. Claiming to be from a company that they are not related to is not an honest business practice. I would not do business with them.
