These people have called me with an auto dialer and electronic voice for 9 days in a row, leaving the same voice mail 2-3xs per day. "This message is solely intended for (my name). A claim has been filed against you. Please remain on the line or call us back at 888-423-3475 M-F between 9 am and 5 pm EST and refrence case number: xxxxx but they call me as early as 7 am and as late as 7 pm and during the weekend. I called and they asked my name and DOB and SS# which I refused. I gave them my phone number and they said that I am required by 'national laws' to provide them with my DOB and SS# and current mailing address and work address and phone number according to the US Surpreme Court and failure will result in $1,000 fine. So, I provided them fake info and they said that matches their records and then asked to verify the case # which I did and they said I took out a school loan in 2007 which I did but they said it slipped through the cracks of my consolidation and that I now owe $16,884 and its due immediately but they would accept a one time settlement of $499.00 but I needed to give them my checking and savings account information for an immediate draft plus $49.95 processing fee and $69.95 court costs, and $149.95 for attorney fees. I hung up and they keep calling.
