SCAM. ACTUAL VERIZON CONFIRMED NOT REAL (Scam call) reported by


Verizon will NEVER call you about your bill!!!! They told me this directly after calling them irate. I got this call saying I owed off $300 and navigated the automated system to a human. In a nice, polite and roundabout way, they tried getting info out of me. They said there were 2 accounts open in my number and she needed info to verify which one was mine to take the debted one off. I gave my first name only and told her that should be sufficient enough to differentiate. She persisted but then got upset when I asked if I could do this online with cust. serv. chat. She politely thanked me for calling then hung up on me. I have half a mind to call them back and just give them a bunch of fake info to waste their time so they cant bother you guys.
