I called this number back because I had a missed call. It directed me to someone asking about my student loans and saying that they can lower my payments and make my payment period shorter. I told them I had it figured out and I didn't need their help.

Older woman with a raspy voice said she was responding to an inquiry (a lie) and ask if I had a student loan that needed forgiveness. I told her we're older folks and we don't have any student loans and asked her where she got our number. She got angry and said, "You don't have to be an a**hole about it!" and at that point I disconnected.
