Received non-descriptive voicemail indicating an "important business matter" - called the number provided but it was busy. Called the number on caller ID back, went through an automated system and was delivered to the same gentleman who left the voicemail. Instead of identifying myself, I said I received a call from this number and the gentleman provided a woman's name that was not mine (assuming he just hang up from trying to call her). I gave him the number he called me at and he correctly identified my name, but refused to tell me what the call was regarding unless I confirmed my address, and provided him my social security number, and birthdate, citing "Sorry sir, it doesn't work that way" when I asked if he could provide the information for me to confirm and indicating that he had to ensure he was talking to the correct person before giving me any information regarding the purpose of the call. I politely declined.
