PayPal Debt Collectors. They could be scammers though, since the company uses Indian reps for legitimate reasons and scammers employers use the same thing.

PayPal Credit (Scam call) reported by


The call showed as 'Toll Free Call' and 888-361-0689 on my caller ID. A female giving her name as Gail left a message on my recorder stating she was from PayPal Credit and left a number to return the call to 888-334-6260. I called and spoke with another female named Michelle requesting to verify who I was and asking for DOB, last 4 of SSN. After giving that info, she stated she still not certain and requested my address. Realizing I had just made a major error, I declined. She stated she could not assist any more w/o complete verification and ended the call. Contacted PayPal and they confirmed this was not a call generated by them. I cancelled my account and the card associated with the account. I just received another call from these idiots from 888-361-0688.
