they called asking if i was a ATT customer. i pressed 1 to talk to a representive. they asked what my current bill is. i replied, "you work for ATT, you tell me" him: i am from the promotion department. me: what promotion? him: movie channels and 150mbps download internet with unlimited bandwith for 69.99. Me: i only pay 49.99 right now for 300mbps download. Him: youre a liar. Me: youre a scammer. Him: hangs up phone.

Spear Phishing call from this number to change my account information. Sounded exactly like an AT&T rep, asked the same questions. Likely had AT&T on the line at the same time as they were calling me. My account information was changed immediately following the call, and I had to call AT&T customer support afterwards.

Yes, this is really AT&T; however, after talking to AT&T they indicated they do not call out on this number. This number is for incoming calls only. It is being spoofed by scammers trying to get your personal information. AT&T will not call you and ask for your PIN to access your information. However, if you call them for help, they will need your PIN to access your information.
