From reviews posted i gather this is another non-indigenious Indian scoundrel attempting to bilk me of money i don't have anyway....ive already been targeted by a similar scam where they pretend they are IRS representatives, and i was about to have the marshals drag me out of my house and cane my heels if i didn't immediately send payment of delinquent back taxes...Well, my Mom is an IRS field agent who audits corporations for a living, and her bae is a retired IRS tax attourney, so, i don't think so...

They want you to acknowledge your name. So I messed with him and gave a made-up name. Then he wanted my SSN so I made that up too, also made up a mailing address. In reference to a "personal business matter..." Is it a personal matter or business? Hahahahahaha. I think it was the Amex scam.

Foreign speaking gentlemen called and requested my name, last four digits and D.O.B. I asked him if I call your home and ask you to give me your personal information, would you do it. He wouldn't answer, but continued to ask for my assistance in helping to identify the person he was looking for. I then asked him, do you really think I'm about to help you? This statement went right over his head. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. IN FACT, WHEN THEY CALL AND ASK FOR SOMEONE, DON'T ACKNOWLEDGE ANYTHING OR ANYONE. JUST KEEPING ASKING THE CALLER, WHAT'S THIS IN REFERENCE TOO. They will eventually hang the phone up. Their wasting your time, so waste theirs.

They have been calling me numerous times per week. Sent letter. Their name is American Express Global Collections, PO Box 360001, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, 33336-0001. Wanted almost $2500 dollars and would settle for less - I have never owned an American Express Card. DO NOT GIVE THEM! your PERSONAL INFO EVER! they will use your SS number and bday to open a real credit card and use it and really wreck your credit AND they will take your payments that you do NOT owe. Don't let them scare you.
