Direct Energy calling to verify account details. Did ask for a pin that was supposedly the last 4 digits of my SSN, and the call was unsolicited, however it seems to be legitimate. This is the number listed on their website for billing, and they are my electric provider. It was strange to get a call out of the blue though. Offered to set up a recurring charge for appliance/electronic surge protection as well as trying to switch over to average billing option.
