1st an automated system seemed call me and state I had purchased something from Amazon and was it a correct purchase or not for the amount of 800 and somewhat dollars then it directed me to press one if this was a fraudulent purchase to connect me with the fraud department and then the individual star asking me a bunch of information after he stated he already knew it was me on the phone and re sited my full name and full address. I started to ask questions to see of this phone call was truly valid or not after several questions and getting misguided answers I questioned it further and he asked me in a very rude manner to stop asking questions and just to do what I'm told this and the ridgell had a very heavy foreign accent and was very rude. I became irritated by this and asked him if he thought I was a fool and that he was thought to be able to scab me at this point he hung up the phone. Please beware if I would not have asked a series of questions I may have been taken to the bank for better words and I don't want anyone to be misled and provide their personal information to individuals such as these please beware.

this call started with a robocall saying they were from Amazon and my account was charged $700, and to press 1 if it's not mine. This black, yes, I could tell, foreigner answered and right away he says, "How can I help you?" He gave no i.d. company name or his own. I said, "You called me. What is the name of your company?" He got smart mouthed and said, "You already know that." I said, "Yes you're right, but you need to tell me, so I will know if you're a scammer.". & he said, "Well, maybe you are." I called him a nasty name after he said something else rude to me, and he cussed back at me. We were calling each other nasty names. then I'd heard enough and hung up. Do I care I swore at him? No, I don't, bc guess what? He WAS a scammer. Amazon told me they never call or text any customers unless there is something about an order we've placed. There's been no orders here placed with them. So beware of this nasty person.

Called, I answered. I normally don't answer the phone for unknown numbers but I was expecting a business call from Lowe's and I wasn't sure what number they would use. The recording said that someone charged $600 for a iPhone 7 (truely a old phone) press 1 - I hung up!

Caller - caller ID posted Amazon (with valid Amazon tele #) - wanted to verify 600.00 charge for an I-phone purchased via amazon.... charged to my Amazon prime visa... told them change was bogus,, and I don't use a Amazon Visa.. they then transferred me to the FRAUD Department.... after repeating the "problem" the Fraud expert indicated that my account had been hacked, and he would help me repair my account.. Had me complete a purchase, to verify account was stable.. then a second purchase that "should" have been blocked, but it wasn't... the finally a third which locked the system up.... he claimed that verified the account had been repaired... all charges made to test system would be removed.... after hanging up the phone, I called Amazon directly, stating what just transpired, and found I had been had.... Amazon worked with me to get charges cleared up....

Called saying he was with Amazon & someone tried to change money to my account in a state i didn't live in. I was suspicious when i saw no activity on my Amazon account. I told him i would call back. I called the legitimate Amazon number and was told under no circumstance would Amazon ever call someone. They will send an email.

Caller (automatic voice) claimes I made an amazon for purchase for over $ 400 and to press one to confirm. I hung up and checked my amazon account to confirm that it had not been hacked. Also reported it to amazon.

Called and claimed I'd made a very expensive purchase of an iPhone 10 and would be charged $$$ but if this wasn't the case I should press 1 to talk to Customer Service. Amazon has a million ways to contact me, and this phone call where they spoofed an Amazon customer service number isn't one of them. Clearly a scam, no doubt would have asked me to confirm my financial details before they "cancelled" the charge.
