lady called and said she was from paypal-asked for a relative who i know does not have a paypal account, i hung up on her-very very suspicious call-do not trust this phonenumber unless you are sure they are who they say they are, lady would not tell me why she was calling-i see other reviews on here and am inclined to believe that it was most likely a scam

Caller ID says PayPal. They constantly call and never leave a message. i am blocking because if it was a valid call, there would be no reason not to leave a message. Instead they call every hour or so. That is harassment as far as I am concerned.

Multiple calls daily from this # for weeks. They start early and continue in to the night. Annoying. Never answered it until early this morning.... didn't want my entire family awake at 6am on a Saturday morning. Ugh. They claim to be a collection agency working for PayPal. SCAM! These people transferred $1000 from my bank account into my PayPal account.... I'm sure they were going to withdrawal it from PayPal as soon as they saw it. Luckily I found the transaction early and between me, my bank and PayPal the transaction was stopped. I did, however, have to set up a new bank account. I have since taken all my financial info. off of PayPal and was going to close my account as soon as I knew everything was truly resolved. Then these fools put my PayPal account into -1000 and start emailing and calling trying to get me to put money into my PayPal account! I'm going to close my account permanently now. It's stinks because I enjoyed having the PayPal option for purchases. Long story, I know, but DON'T TRUST THIS NUMBER. Don't give out any information... Better yet don't answer and block the #. It's not legit and it's not PayPal.

This is EXACT SCENARIO is happening to me NOW. They keep calling. My PayPal had a $1000 transferred from my bank account and when I went to PayPal online someone had changed all my info to Spanish and updated the primary phone number to someone else’s number (I’m sure to withdraw the money once it cleared) Now because I canceled the transaction and the money went back into my account they are saying I owe PayPal $1000.

THIS IS PAYPAL. I do have negative balance (for 4 days, SMH, really PayPal!? I've been getting small deposits too from eBay sales! Anyways I am working on resolving this and bringing my account back into the positive, but I'm still blocking this number. I will send them an email, I refuse to talk to anyone on the phone over a recorded line.
