Husband answered phone and they claimed that account was suspended. My husband brought the phone to me, saying that he couldn't understand what the guy with a foreign accent was saying. He was asking for billing zip code. Once I gave it to him, he started talking about sending us iphones.

Robo call. Said there was a problem with my Verizon account. To reactivate, asked for my account pin and last 4 of my ss#. Horrible grammar throughout. I gave it 0's for all, which it accepted. Then it said that all associates were busy, they'd call me back ;o Looks like it is Verizon's activation number as well. Guess no one is safe from being spoofed.

Scam (Robocall) reported by JC
Said they were calling because my Verizon account was suspended & wanted my PIN. I hung up & called Verizon direct. Verizon said it was a scam because they would never call someone & ask for personal information. They also said my account was in good standing & there were no records of any calls made to my number.
