SCAM! Not PNC it is someone who is asking to verify if the card to be activated for a card does not exist They also asked for Social Security.

It's not scam. I called the real PNC number and verified it. They called me from this number to ask for all my information about a credit card that I applied for. The number is legit

No bank will ask for social over the phone, maybe last 4, but not the full number. I applied online, got approved and new card in hand and they are calling. So, they are now blocked as spam.
