I work with them all the time. They are a legit company that asks for medical records from doctors offices on patients on behalf of their insurance company. It's basically checking to make sure patients actually saw their doctors. It's called Ciox Healthcare. Google it and you will see what they do, they've been around 40 years. Per their website, "For 40 years, Ciox has advanced health information management and exchange of health information. Our broad reach in medical records extends across industries, allowing us to modernize workflows, facilitate access to clinical data, and improve the accuracy and flow of health information."

Please return my call at 877-445-9293 with a reference number 22776224. Again the number to call is 877-445-9293. Thank you and have a good day. I have never done "records requests" and havent asked for any.

Maybe call them and tell them to remove your number from their records. I do find it strange they would call random people on their cell phones or whatever. Maybe they misdial sometimes. I deal with them all the time but then again, I'm at a medical office. They are looking for medical records on patients on behalf of their insurance company. It basically is to confirm that they actually saw us and requested our services before they go paying us or hospitals for the services they are being billed for. It helps against insurance fraud, protecting both patient and medical offices.
