Midland call center. (Call centre) reported by


Midland call center. They won't answer you, but if you answer, they up the number of times they call back. Doesn't matter if the debt is yours or someone they think you know. Don't answer. There are over 20 other numbers they may call from, as well. May also get an India-based call center, trying to source personal information via social engineering techniques.

Call-center in India...scam!! (Debt collector) reported by


First, the creditor wrote off the now 10+ year old debt and received a tax credit. Then they sent me an IRS form, requiring me to report the unpaid debt as income. Then, places like Midland Credit buy lists of unpaid debts, hoping to find a few naive victims. And so these rocket scientists, using a call-center in India think I'll pay them too?? A scam to beat all scams! Sorry guys - try some other sucker(s).
