E-MAIL STATES AMAZON LOCKER MAY BE "LOCKED-OUT"; I DON'T HAVE A AMAZON LOCKER!!?!?!? ALSO, TO CALL THIS # OR CLICK LINK FOR ASSISTANCE...WEBSITE IS A RED SCREEN HACKER DANGER SITE!!! MULTIPLE CALLS TO # SENDS ME IN CIRCLES AND REPEATEDLY CUT ME OFF, UNTIL FINALLY AN OPERATOR (WITH A DISTINCT INDIAN ACCENT TRYING TO SOUND WESTERN) ANSWERED AND SWORE HE "WAS AN AMAZON EMPLOYEE" AS I PRESSED HIM FOR INFO ABOUT THE COMPANY AND HIS EMPLOYMENT. HE CONTINUED ALSO TO INSIST THAT I "DIVULGE MY NAME, MY AMAZON ACCOUNT NUMBER (AND OTHER INFO)." I DID NOT COMPLY, OF COURSE, AND TOLD HIM "I WILL FORWARD HIS CONTACT INFO TO THE FBI INTERSTATE CYBERCRIMES DIVISION AS WELL AS INTERPOL CYBERFRAUD TASKFORCE! HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU AND YOURS! they said it was Amazon however I believe it was a scam. Said an order was placed for an iphone. Checked online orders -- iphone is NOT listed.

Amazon , Amazon , Amazon locker tech support - I personally called this number posted on the locker after the locker failed to operate at all. this is a legit Amazon number.

I received a call stating someone was trying to purchase headphones out of the Houston area. I do not live any where close to that proximity. The caller asked if I could put them speaker phone which I found weird. Somehow we lost signal and couldn't hear each other and they hung up. I was like this is weird, so, I checked my recent orders, and, couldn't see the purchase. That's when i checked the phone number on line ,and, found this site. Funny how another person had the same thing happen. Sounds like a scam to me too!

Fake Fraudulent Purchase Scam (Scam call) reported by Madhu
I received a call stating that "someone" tried to purchase headphones on my amazon account and that Amazon "flagged" it and was calling to solve the issue. It felt fishy, so I used the Amazon chat to check on it. The customer service person I spoke to stated that Amazon will not stop anyone from making a purchase and asked if I made a complaint. I told him I did not file a fraudulent purchase claim. I also gave him the number and he said that it was not a number of theirs. Someone on here said it was the American Airlines number. Sounds fake to me!
