This was a legit fraud center call from my credit union. However, spoofer apps do exist. It is always best to call your credit union/bank directly to verify. It was preceded by a text with the same information as the voicemail.

SOME ONE TRIED TO CHARGE MY BANK CARD AND THEY DECLINED IT BECAUSE IT WAS SUSPICIOUS. I CALLED MY BANK AND THEY LOOKED IT UP ON MY ACCOUNT AND SAID YES SOMEONE DID TRY TO CHARGE MY ACCOUNT.THE BANK DEACTIVATED MY CARD AND I went and picked up a new one.

I'm thankful for this alert! Someone tried to use my card to charge $200 on a Polish gaming website. The first person who answered the call asked only for my phone number and name, and sent me to a representative at my credit union, who blocked my card and advised me to go to the bank the next day to obtain a new one.

Said from my Bank and asked if I had made a charge from Lyft for an amount, I didn't but then followed by 2 more charges from Lyft on my account they didn't alert. Two weeks later 2 charged of about $1500 charged to my account. This must be how it started. I didn't provide any information to them other than Yes to wanting alerts.
