They sent a mail to my mailbox initially with a toll free number to call that had my car make and model and year and stated that if I don't call them back by a certain date then they will register my vehicle as "High-Risk potential "Pre-Existing" conditions with mechanical or electrical issues on vehicle". When I called them, they redirected me too this number and they guy said that my vehicle protection needs to be renewed and the discounted offer is valid only for this call and convinced me to take my credit card details. I felt few red flags about the conversation so I called my dealership and verified only to know that this is a widespread scam. So always call your dealership directly and verify before entertaining such notices.
