Caller said he was from Amazon but then, without identifying who he was speaking to or saying what the issue was, asked to confirm my account number. When I said no, he should have the number, should tell me tbe problem and then confirm he us speaking to the account holder, he said he would email and hung up. Never did get an email. Seemed liked someone phishing for account information...

It's a scam for your info

It is Amazon, when I failed to answer my door I saw the Amazon delivery driver on the phone with driver support, when he saw me he hung up and said the support would be trying to call me (had instructed for package not to be delivered if I did not answer the door)

It is Amazon, not a scam, It is Amazon Logistic, they call when they can not find your place or how to deliver a package.

I received call from someone with very poor English apologizing for "pain for Amazon deliver." It was nearly unintelligible. As I now receive 10-12 calls a day from foreign fraudsters, I tend not to answer numbers I don't recognize (most are spoofed). Because it was an 877 number, I called the number back, and it was answered as "Amazon Logistics." The woman I spoke with had a strong Haitian accent and I swear I could hear chickens clucking and roosters crowing in the background. She did identify a delivery problem which I could confirm via my account online, so I am satisfied that this call was ultimately legitimate.
