when this # called I did not recognize it, and it called on my cell phone -I did not answer (only those family and aquaintances that I want to communicate with get that #)- the message left was a cut-off (with robotic voice) type as though there had been a longer speil, and saying that it "was important and in order to get more information on this case" to call immediately ... spam scam extortionists ... and you likely get $ charged to your phone # if you answer or call back -- plus whatever else they want to try and ding you for. They did not say my name or anything identifiable about me, but mentioned criminal charges and fraud. There was no identity confirmation and it was just a recording. TL;DR it's a load of crap.

This is a fraud phone call. They say they are from AT&T and mention your name. They ask for your social security number. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. This is a scam. AT&T never calls like this. If you call the number back, it is the voice of a man saying you called tech support. You can tell that it is fake.
