Wanting information about a recent ambulance transport (Scam call) reported by


Young woman left message claiming she was calling from AMR customer care center and wanting to know about a recent AMR ambulance transport (which never happened). The number she left was 1-866-835-6638. This is not the number for AMR. She left a website to go to as well www.myemsaccount.com. Also not AMR. My daughter works for AMR and she said it is a scam. Block that number. Phishing.

Automated message requesting secondary insurance information for EMS transport. I know that the primary insurance paid all bills, so I am not inclined to call. I tried the website they listed (which, as I suspected, is invalid) and then looked up the phone number online. I would say it is a scam. If they really want your info, they can follow up request via mail. I have since blocked this number.

claiming there is unresolved issues for a EMS transportation. We had a recent transportation but it wasnt an emergency. It was precious cargo or care-a-van ride AND it was paid in full at the time of service. Not trusting them AT ALL!

Not a real person. The robo directed us to go to this website to provide them with our secondary insurer's contact information for paying the ambulance transport that was actually needed recent. This is their second call. I doubt they are legit now.
