I received this postcard asking me to call to 'update your protection program or you will be responsible for paying all repairs out of pocket'. I have my service protection thru manufacturer of my vehicle, and this is NOT from them. SCAM! I DID NOT CALL!

I have a 4 year old Kia and have maintained it. All past notices were from the company and clearly marked. The card gave no hint of who it was from. I immediately suspected a scam and googled the phone number. It's a scam.

It states “our records indicate that you have NOT contacted us to have your vehicle protection updated. This notice is to inform you that your vehicle is in need of a vehicle protection update in order to ensure it’s continued optimal operation. Please call us today at 1-866-787-1199. By neglecting to update your protection program you will be responsible for paying all repairs out of pocket. Hours M-F 8:00 - 8:00 CST. Sat 8:00 - 4:00 CST. *immediate response requested*”
