Picked up phone and said hello, as TELUS came up as the name. Got a bit of dead air then heard a male voice say an undistinguishable syllable and one or two brief female shrieks. Then they hung up.

I’ve never actually picked up because I don’t pick up unknown numbers. They’ve called everyday, once a day - for a week or two. I know it’s not Telus as this isn’t their 1-800 number listed on their website. Also they don’t call you, they email you with offers or other concerns. This is likely either a spoofed caller id scam or something similar. Don’t answer
