Caller Posing as Debt Collector from "Dr's Office" (Scam call) reported by


I have been receiving multiple calls per day from this number, most of the time when I answer there is nobody on the line (robocall) and I simply hang up this time I remained on the line until someone picked us. The man on the line said that he was calling about a debt owed to a doctor. I told him that I did not have any debts and asked for the name of the doctor. He said that he would give me that only after I verified my personal information (which I did not). This is a fishing attempt to get your personal information. Be careful. I hung up and blocked the number.

When I get these calls and I answer them there is almost always silence and they eventually just hang up. The one time they answered it was an Indian man claiming they were collecting debts from the hospital I went to when I had a cyst. He asked for my address to be confirmed before even making if clear they were a debt collector which gave off red flags. When I ignore the call they never leave a message or anything. When I try to call back, I get nothing.

This guys was like “we’re calling from your physicians office regarding your doctor” lmao then he’s like may I get your date of birth to confirm it is whom I’m speaking. I’m like if your my doctor just send me the information thru email, you should have my information then he gave me an address to confirm and I was like I’ve never being near that address. And then he got **** that I didn’t give him my birth day
