I work in financial crime. I see this all day everyday. Please do not fall for this awful scare tactic! For what it’s worth, I let the guy I spoke to have it! After a good name calling session, I told him to get a real job and hung up. What a loser!

Scam call. Claiming that they had my SSN associated with drug (Telemarketer) reported by


I was called by a gentlemen claiming to be Officer Anthony Marshall. He gave me a case number and said that my SSN had criminal activity linked to it. Something about drug trafficking and a stolen car with blood on the back seat. I challenged the gentlemen to show me that it wasn't a scam call and he couldn't do anything to help. He then told me that I needed to wipe my social security and get a new social security card.
