Received an email from Jan Neidens, billing department supposedly from Norton Lifelock. The email said that I had placed an auto-debit order for services and $470.00 would be debited to my bank account in 24 hours. The number to call to downgrade my subscription is +1 (866) 741-2167.;I called and informed the person who answered that I cancelled all Lifelock several years ago. The person said that was not true and the subscription is still active. I would have to get all system information on my computer removed by them to cancel my subscription. This let me know this is definitely a big scam, and I hung up.

This is a business line they are calling looking for someone, tried to call the number back to have ourselves removed and it is an automated answering service, if you know the extension enter it now or hold for assistance. Placed on hold and then disconnected.

866-751-2167 called and said that “they were not a sales call”, that they “were calling for Brad Harper” and that they were the “Credit Bureau of Canada” from 1450 Meyerside Drive, Mississauga. They even gave the Postal Code and a Reference # 15069801 to make it even more authentic looking. Naturally, the address is common knowledge & just requires a simple search. Weird tho that the 866 # they called from and want you to call is different from the 800# the Credit Bureau lists on the same search. Your first impression i s that someone is pretending to be Credit Bureau of Canada - until you see that the CBofC is actually on the BBB site with 105 similar complaints in the last 3 years! In people’s efforts to have their number removed from the CBofC database, the VP or rep from Quality Assurance states the same pathetic apology to each victim as Infiniti’s.

The keep calling me when I'm away from the phone. They leave messages saying they are looking for people (it is always different names they are seeking). I haven't returned their phone call yet as it is obviously a scam as I've never heard of the people they are looking for.

Left me a message to call back citing a reference number and address. Called and got through to “Canada debt collectors” yeah, I am lucky not to have debt, so unlikely. Clearly they are Scammers, added to my blocked caller list.
