Called in asking for a certain person. When told that the person was busy they stated, just like a customer waiting for a sales man " Tell him " Kyle is on hold for him". Thought it was an actual customer. Then when Kyle was told we did not need his service "Debt collection" he became very pushy and just had to be hung up on.

Called asking for the business owner. We get an excessive amount of telemarketing and spam calls that I filter through. I asked if the owner was expecting his call and he said no. I then asked if I could ask what it was in regards to he said no he may not. I then asked again what it was regarding and he very rudely said "are you still not understanding me?!". I told him he could email us and then put him on hold. Absolutely disgusting behavior by a telemarketer. If they are trying to get sales they are going about it the wrong way.

Caller asked if he could speak with the owner. I replied, is he expecting your call? "Yes, he lied, I'm Edward with Hillcrest." I asked the boss if he was expecting the call and he said no. When I picked the line back up I asked if he would like to leave a message and he wasnt rude, just said he would call back later.

Called and asked for the owner. Told him he was in a meeting and unavailable, he then proceeded to tell me to interrupt him due to this being an important matter. Told him I could not do that but I could take a message and pass it to him when he was available. He proceeded to argue and insist on me barging into his meeting and was very rude and mocked me and just when I was about to get rude back with him he hung up.

Offered to collect past due debts for my business for a percentage. Couldn't give me a rate or any other information. Only wanted me to give him information. I like playing with these guys and wasting their time since they're wasting mine. He was very persistant. After 10-15 minutes I passed hime off to my secretary who played with him for another 5 minutes or so. He ended up hanging up on her when she started laughing.

When I clicked on the Geek Squad. a loud sound with a flashing square and a voice saying my computer had been hacked and do not touch the X or your computer will crash..call this number (I don't have it now). I thought it was the Geek Squad telling me they would help me (because that is what I clicked on.) I called the number listed and they told me all kinds of stuff wrong because someone had hacked my computer. They asked for money. I was scared and I paid $349.99. They tried to get more, but I refused.The man tried to sell me a three year plan for $900 and got angry when I told him I couldn't pay it. They worked on my computer remotely.I am so afraid they got info out of my computer because she showed me a list that had all my credit cards listed and even my SSN. I stopped payment on the check and now I am so afraid they will hack my computer and really do some damage.I cancelled all the credit cards I had accumulated over the years and I have to go to the bank tomorrow and change my bank numbers. I don't know what else to do. I had heard about this scam or something like it, but because I had clicked on the Geek Squad, I thought they would handle it and that is why I called. The woman who answered absolutely led me to believe I had the Geek Squad and told me that my wi fi was hacked and Geeks did not fix that. I just didn't catch on in time. AVK Targets is the name they gave me and their number is 844-454-2555. Who can I report this to if they keep bothering me?

A man told me I was about to get arrested and that they "Police?" were on the way. I cursed him out and hung up. I'm sure he was about to tell me they would leave me alone if I paid him money for IRS or whatever- I know the scam!!! These people are garbage!! They have called almost everyone I know. Be sure all friends and family are aware of this scam. Especially the older folks. They scare easy and can be too trusting. No police will ever call you before they come to arrest you. And the IRS will never call you and demand money.

Caller asked for the "owner" and didn't like being told he was "not available." It then became a challenge of if the owner was "here" or not. All I can say is "unavailable" as that's all this **** needs to know. He didn't like it and said, "I can hear your exasperated sighs so just tell me if they're there or not and this will go a lot easier on you." That is a THREAT and not permissible by FCC regulations and other federal laws. Response was a hang up and blocking the number with our service provider. I don't have any time for such nonsense and drama!

The man called asking for the owner. I told him he was not in and asked if he needed other services. He sounded frustrated and said "NO I will send him an e-mail" and hung up on me. I am the "Gate Keeper" for my company so I looked up the number on another site to find out who he was. It is a SALES CALL for Hillcrest Collection Agency. NOT INTERESTED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
