Same old story. Spammers hoping to find someone they can scare into paying for an invisible loan that never happened. Threats to have you served at work and home if you don't call back. Never mentions my name, a case number, or even the name of the person who was calling. Not that any of these things would validate the claim, but just saying...

I don't know if legal companys notify you when a summons is being presented. Don't they just serve without warning?

Court Summons (Scam call) reported by


Got call from 817-203-0341 says going to deliver court summon in 24-48 hrs at work or home. Two ids must be presented for summons. If don't get summons a missed court appearance will be in place. Call 866-681-6714 to talk to someone about this. Neither phone number is a lawyer or court.

Call is for a person I have never heard of. Told me I must be home or work so they can serve a summons within the next 24 - 48 hours and I need two forms of ID. This is a scam, I don't think they alert you before serving a summons
