They were very threatening while requesting information to verify my unemployment. They could not verify my account or identity, after I told them we would not give private info over the phone. I asked if they mailed a letter pertaining the issue they said yes but my online account shows no such letter was mailed. They demanded proof of income but gave me no such way to supply it...no email, website, etc. It seems after I said I would not share private info they continued the act enough to get off the phone. Unemployment is NOT demanding paperwork on the phone without using the mail first and posting the request in your account. Do not give these people private info!

They said it was the Michigan Unemployment Service. But, I asked them "how can I verify that" ... there was no way to verify that "they are who they claim to be".
