Gentleman stated that he was from provider services. Stated that they were not a debt collector but had important information regarding a hospital visit. He had my name address and phone number and the date and hospital I visited. I said I am not interested and hung up. It bothers me that he had my information. Hang up immediately. No Hospital will call you at 10pm.

The woman said she was calling from Richardson Medical Center about money my son owed for an ER visit. But she had his middle initial wrong. I asked what this was in regards to, and she said she needed to speak with my son. I told her that he was 3 years old so she couldn't speak with him. The woman said, "Okay, thank you. I'll take him off our calling list." Very bizarre, especially since it's been several years since my son has been to an ER and it wasn't the one she mentioned. My gut told me it's a scam.

This number has repeatedly called and never left a message. I accidentally answered today and it was dead silence. It wasn't as if someone was on the line not saying anything, it was as if there wasn't a connection.

Repeated calls for days. No voicemails left. (Nuisance call) reported by


After several days, I finally called back. They said they were not collecting a debt, but calling on behalf of a medical practice that cared for my son. They knew my son and the date of the service. Said they had more information for me about my son, but need more personal information to confirm they could speak to me. They would not identify themselves further. I refused to give them more information. Said they should have the doctor call me instead. I told them if they knew about my son and the service, then they didn't need me to confirm the other details. They would not continue the conversation, but called again for the next four days. Still no voicemail left. I plan to call the doctor's office to report this.

The guy was Indian, with an accent. The number was an 866 number I normally would not have answered, but I did. The guy knew my name, he knew I went to a doctor's office and the date and place. He said that my insurance company was going to reverse their payment (from 10 months ago ) and that I owed over $600. He offered to connect me with someone who could help my with that payment. I said no that I would take care of it and that I did not believe I owed that money. I don't. But it's crazy that he knew WAY too much about MY BUSINESS! He knew the insurance company's name too.

Identified himself as "PROVIDER SERVICES" (Nuisance call) reported by


Caller refused to say on behalf of what provider he was calling for-he just repeatedly asked if he was speaking to the person he called and said he is from Provider Services. I called back on my business phone and the voice message that answered said "Thank you for calling provider services" and then music plays.
