They call via an auto dialer to see if there is a human at the other end. They then hope you will call them back and it asks you via phone to enter your social security or cc account # so that they can identify you and get you to the right department. They are phishing for personal information to use to pretend to be you and steal your identity. If they call threatening you just hang up and report them. They call over and over even after you speak with them. I asked them to stop calling me during work hours or call once and leave a message and I can call back when I can. They call 10+ times a day! I told them it was harassment at this point!
