They say on their site: "If one of Waypoint’s representatives is contacting you, it is because we have received information that may link you to an account we were contracted to service." When you click where it says will this be on my credit? This is what they say:"There are a variety of factors considered prior to credit reporting. However, where contractually required, Waypoint does report to the national credit reporting agencies. To discuss your account in more detail, please contact one of our representatives at (866) 447-4163. You can learn more about credit and debt from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) by visiting their website at www.consumerfinance.gov.". I have NEVER heard of a collection agency who does not report your debt if not paid to the credit bureau! They want your money! Don't trust them!

Called, was put on hold. Then she wanted my address, or last 4 of my social security number. I have no debts, and I told them that. They said they did not say this was regarding a debt. When I answered the phone, it said it was from a debt collector. I did not give the information. Note they are not credited with the Better Business Bureau.

Said it was about a "personal business matter", I said I don't have any business, they kept insisting I give them my address. Went back and forth 3 times until I told them not to call me again and hung up.

Don't answer 866-447-42xx. Waypoint Group hounds me every day and calls back and leaves no message .!!! Something should be done about this company. They don't take messages but hang up if you start to yell at them as they can't take the heat when given back to them. This is the worst group* groups who bother people yet. Someone should do something to the owners of this place NOW!!!

Initially Waypoint called our number. Through their phone tree, I wasn't able to speak to a live person so I hung up and redialed the number that appeared on our caller id. Waypoint was looking to speak to someone who wasn't at this number. I told them there wasn't anyone here by that name, they stated they would remove the number as incorrect. Representative was polite and efficient. This phone number is for Waypoint Resource Group and appears legit.

Called my place of employment asking for me. Then asked me to verify my information, I refused until they told me who they were and what wanted. "Personal Business Matter" was her reply. I informed her this is my workplace and she cannot contact me here, all 'personal matters' go to my cell phone. She then asked me for my cell phone number! Haha, I told her if it was a real business matter then they should have that on file and hung up.

Same here, except they called my cellphone. Said their name really fast and wanted confirm my name, I said "this is she", and they wanted me to verify my address by telling them my address, I said "i dont give personal information until I know what the call is about", and they said "Waypoint Resource Group" (my caller ID left the 866 number as I googled the info, and it is Waypoint), but that they can't tell me what the call is regarding until they verify my address. And I said, I dont verify personal information until I know what the call is about. They said this call cannot proceed, since they can't get me to tell them my address. and they hung up. Probably debt collection and they are just phishing for the person who owes it.
