It's just At&t checking up on your insurance claim. The call is to tell you to send your old damaged phone back or you'll have to pay for it. You'll only receive this call if you submitted an insurance claim and have already received your new phone.

Used public access information to play as an AT&T representative. (Scam call) reported by


After using the public access information which would seem to the average librarian as personal information to convince the receiver that they were talking with an AT&T employee, user specific information was inquired for (name of user that claimed insurance, email [I cut the caller there], ...) The overall push seemed to be for tainted instructions on how to remove personal data from phone for which the insurance claim was made for. Well worded enough to be a difficult fraud case.
