They called asking to verify AMEX information for a credit card I applied for the day before. The call was breaking up and I could hardly understand her. She asked for the last 4 of my SSN, and to verify my phone number which I did. But, then she wanted me to give her my full SSN. I refused and she provided a number for me to call back. But, I am not comfortable giving that information when they called me. NO! NO WAY! I already gave them that information on the app.
