Claimed to be from Kaiser Permanente Medicaid dept. asked for personal info. I requested a call-back number (they told me 800-260-9936, not what it said on my Caller-ID) and the caller’s name (Taylor). I then called Kaiser Member Services at the number on ITS OFFICIAL site. They had no record of a call to me and said the call-back number wasn’t one of theirs. They advised me to disregard it. It was live person, pretty convincing. A less suspicious person might have given them information.

Fake Utility Company (Service) reported by


Received a call saying that my utilities would be cut off in one hour because I failed to submit a $900 deposit required for installing a new gas meter. NEVER EVER have paid for a meter. The said it was a new process and they sent several letters requesting this deposit amount with no response. I never received any such letter. They said the only solution to avoid service interruption was to pay by phone via credit card or go to the nearest Walmart and make immediate payment...also that I had only 30 minutes left to do so. Put them on hold and called the utility company who confirmed SCAM. Strange thing- they had the same prompts on their phone as the utility company

Got a VM about some new program that could forgive student loans over $10k as long as I wasn't currently in school, and asked that I call this number. Sounded like a scam but seeing this page confirms it.

Tired of these folks CLAIMING to have papers for me to sign, regarding legal matters and that they have tried to come to my home and serve me papers and now threatening to come to my place of work. I was a legal assistant for MANY years - when you are served papers if they are unable to reach you at your place of dwelling or place of employment - they are required by Law to mail them/Certified Letter so that All communication is date stamped. SICK OF THESE HARASSING SCAMMED CALLS. I have NO judgements against me. The claims are false. This # is a scam!
