Caller ID said that it was a political call. Wanting to mess with someone I answered, they asked for my wife and said that it was a personal matter. Me being me wondered how a political matter could be personal asked who they represent, the reply was portfolio recovery. They didn’t get in touch with their intended target, and I didn’t give up anything to make them suspect that they had.

Portfolio Associates debt collector. They call from a different number every time. Just do a reverse lookup in the Yellow pages on Google. Don't answer their calls.
