Call Hr wanted me to confirm my information and verify who I was and I told her no I’m not going to tell you my name or any information regarding me because you obviously already have it. She said she was calling regarding my hospital bill and I told her I didn’t have any outstanding hospital bills. This is 100% not a lie because I make payment arrangements on time every month for any doctor bills that I have. I have recently contacted the hospital billing department, and will be following up with them on Monday.

Called with electronic voice saying they needed to speak with [my name], press 1 if it was me. Pressed 1 and recording stated no one is available to speak with me right now, I'm the 2nd caller in line, switched to hold music. Listened for about 30 seconds then hung up. No idea who they were or what they wanted, but it must not have been that important?

Fake hospital bill scam. Real hospital confirmed it was fake. (Scam call) reported by


I receive letters with this number listed after hospital visits. It tells you your balance is overdue, and wants you to mail a check to a p.o. box in Ohio. I always go to the hospital to pay in person, and both times they confirmed that I did not owe the money stated in the letter I received. It's a scam. They are somehow stealing hospital info and mailing people after visits.

Just wanted to say thanks you to everyone for posting this scam! I didn't recognize the number on my voicemail and it came up as potential spam. I'm so glad I looked it up because I just left a message with the hospital billing dept this afternoon at Bon Secour!

Caller ID says St. Francis Hospital, but there is no St. Francis hospital in my area. Never leaves a message, so in my mind, certainly not a legitimate operation.
