Received a call from a woman that said she was with MRS and was calling under Verizon's behalf and asked that I verify my account by giving them my address. I declined. She was speechless and said she could not tell me the nature of the call without that info. I told her if Verizon needed something they can call and hung up. Today I received a text from MRS stating I have an outstanding balance with Verizon which is not true. I am a new customer to Verizon but there is no debt pending to date. Do not give them any information.

Received a text from “MRS”.... A female who id’d Herself as “L. W.”. She said I owed a past due amount of $53.38 from Dec of last year. She seemed to take joy in the fact my wife passed away 1 1/2 yrs ago. Rude, sounded very unproffessiobal & when I asked for her supervisor she became confrontational.
