they called multiple times (michelle Female) and left message, questioned them, and i asked them to send me a letter and i would reply to that and they said to call me back at 1 866 229 0827 ext 5858 So i did call at that number and extension and it was not valid probably burned that extension because i asked too many questions. that number when you call sounds convincing but dont fall for it governments have always 1 million choices to make until you finally reach someone and thousands of covid announcements as well. pretty elaborate scam but Still a scam.

I got a letter from the "CRA" that seemed fishy, they told me to fill in a form regarding line 104 of my taxes within 15 but didn't state what would happen after 15 days... I called the number on the form to see where it goes its was an 819 number (which is Quebec cell phones) with no response. Now they keep calling me telling em to call back at this number.

Got the same letter, seemed super sketchy to me too. I called the Canada report a scam line but they have high volumes and only want you to stay on the line if you provided information so I'll leave it but this should be a note to all the CRA should never ask for your SIN.

I was left a message from this number 186622908cxx about line 104 on my income tax. So instead of calling the number they left, I looked up CRA's number and called them to see if the 866 number was legit. It is and the person from the CRA said that stated on my file one of their agents left a message regarding line 104. So now I will be calling the 866 number back.
