I don't answer unfamiliar numbers. I figure if it's important, they'll leave a message. After being called by this number, a robot left a message that was cut off at the beginning (you know, that thing where the voicemail starts halfway through their message and you only hear the last sentence). I came here to see who it might be. I've checked a few sites and it seems 50:50 on whether this is a scam or not. I can tell you that there was a problem with my Waste Management account and I learned via email last night that it was past due. I paid it this morning, and then this call came in the afternoon. The call is likely not a coincidence and truly is from Waste Management. Or a scammer who has managed to hack their system. I'm not calling back because the bill is paid, but I'll be keeping an eye on my account and an ear out for another call.

They called and left a message, but didn't bother saying what company they were just to have my account number when I call them back. Not calling them back since I don't know who they are, or if it's a legit call.

Answered the call, got a recorded "hello"- then they hung up. If it is Waste Management, then they need to fix their damn automated system, I don't like being hung up on like that after I actually answer a call. This is a quick way to get their number on an "ignore" list on my phone.

A very nice person from Waste Management called to remind me that payment was overdue. And yes, it was late by 21 days. So I paid it and all is right with the world again. I am positive it was them, they already had the account numbers I use on file, I didn't have to give them any info.

I don't answer the call thinking it was a spam call and it left a voicemail saying Waste Management has an urgent message regarding account. I logged into Waste Management's web site and found that the auto payment didn't go through because the card that I have been using to pay the bill was expired. so, it was a robocall but a useful one.

Called me on my cell phone, simple 'hello' followed by silence. I hung up. Unsolicited calls from marketers to cell numbers is against the law in WA.
