These people called and the number that showed up on my caller id was a local number. Automated call but a person comes on the phone a few seconds after you answer. At first they sounded professional and legit...after the guy gives his little pitch he th e n says he has to transfer you to another guy to finish the process. That guy wanted paymen t of $299 dollars to correct some of the wr o ng info Google currently has for my business. When I said I wasn't going to pay $299 he got mad and hung up on me.

This number called me, I called back because they didn't say anything when I said hello. I've never received anything from these people. They called themselves "Jefferson" something for collecting a debt. Obviously a scam.

Called saying that I owed money to a company that I’ve never heard before. And wanted to verify my information and instead of them telling me my information they wanted me to give them everything.. and I wouldn’t. So they said if I didn’t verify my information I could get in trouble.

I do not approve of people who call a number without being able to explain why they are calling. This is deleterious behavior and should be illegal. I am currently collecting call data anytime this happens to be used in a class-action lawsuit against people/companies such as this one.
