"Hi, you've been selected for a very important program..." (Robocall) reported by


blah, blah, blah. It will help me get lower rates on credit cards (don't carry any) and on that new mortgage I want (it's almost paid off). I can either press 1 to speak to a representative and confirm I want to "repair my credit and take advantage of this offer" or "press 9 to never receive this offer again". I've pressed 9 5 times now because they've called from 5 different numbers from 4 different states (2x from Florida and 1x each from Mississippi, California and NC). Definitely a scam. And while I keep blocking the number on the phone, they just keep calling from different ones. Frustrating and shows how little use the Do Not Call list is.

Illegal telemarketer posing as a home security specialist. They claimed the company was "Home Security Dealers" out of New York when it's actually a Mexican scam company who is also posing as Marriott or Priceline and claim you won a discounted travel package. These are criminals - beware!
