15 Calls A Day (Telemarketer) reported by Sharon
These people call me 15 times a day telling me they are from the "Vehicle Processing Department". I tell them to stop calling me every time I answer the phone. They just call right back. Today I decided to play along. First I spoke to Jackie who when I showed some interest, transferred me to Kelly who went over her whole scam schpeel, told her it sounded good, she transfered me to Michael in the authorization dept who authorized god only knows what then transferred me back to Kelly who told me their service was $3,355.00 I said oh that's expensive so she transferred me to "Dale" the finance manager who sounded an aweful lot like Michael in the authorization dept. I let him tell me about the program which I again proclaimed was entirely too expensive. He got all the way down to 2yr unlimited coverage with some other crap for $115 a month plus $100 activate fee. So he asked for my Visa card number. I said hold on a second. What's the name of the company.... Vehicle Pro Plus. Oh I cant find you on google. Him:Search Omega AutoCare. Me: Good thank you. OK now since ive listened to your whole pitch right... Now can you please remove my number off your list. him: confused: ma'am what? We've never called you before. me: u have and I appreciate the info you've provided cause now I can call and lodge a complaint against you. Him: ma'am are you interested in covering your vehicle or not. Me: not this call and not the 60 other times you people have called me before today! Him: then this call is over. Me: please don't call Me again cause I'll do this every time. cause keeping you on a 20 min call with me is 20 mins I know you aren't scamming someone else. Him: hangs up Uugghh they don't stop. Hopefully now they will tho.
