Female scam caller AAA phishing (Scam call) reported by


Women called me and said her name was Tracy. She someone knew that my AAA membership expired recently which was factual and she knew what plan I was on somehow. She knew my home address and tried to “retain” me as a customer. She was very nice and I said no ipfeont , then she was really pushy and said she could offer me a lower deal and did so. I realized that after the call the confirmation. She gave me was bogus and she made up the whole thing. Luckily I have a way to report my debit card stolen immediately so nothing was charged. I did some research and found out the number is registered to an Anthony viola. This man is dead and lives in NY, the dead mans landline number was searchable through white pages and I found his land line. I called that and a woman answered, perhaps the same woman that scammed me. She shares the same landline as the deceased named above. Her name is grace Ann p Russo.

Same caller named tracy called me saying the same thing that she was from triple a and she knew a lot of my info as well like my address and names on my account. I almost gave her my full credit card number before I stopped 4 digits away and realised this might be a scam so I stopped and told her I will have to call aaa myself and renew my membership.. I'm glad I stopped when I did because the last this I need right now is to get scammed out of 1000s off my credit card. Nevertheless I feel like too much of my info is out there now and am very worried they will figure out a way to scam me out of money if not today, in the near future. :(

this number has been calling frequently and not leaving messages if we didn't pick up and disconnected if we did answer. called again today and caller asked for a person i never heard of so i said they had the wrong number. caller asked if i was sure i didn't know this person because she had a AAA account with them. never identified himself or his company. I told him no i didn't know who he was talking about. concerned he was fishing for a specific word or phrase to record to use at a later date to say i agreed to purchase something. I have heard of scams like that.
