This number called my 800 number at my place of business so I know they were not looking for me. When I answered with the name of my company nobody spoke at the other end of the call, not did they leave a message. If they were trying to reach someone they would have left a message.

Unprofessional and harassing (Debt collector) reported by


Called me, multiple members of my family and my place of employment. Will not divulge any information because I have asked them to send me something in writing, which they have not done. Want me to give my birth date and social without giving me any info. Reported to attorney general, local sheriff and BBB. Have contacted a lawyer - she is sending them a cease and desist and has requested contact through mail only. I have never heard of a debt collector who answers the phone "hello" and not "this is so and so with such and such a company and we are attempting to collect a debt". I am sure that they scam people into paying debt all of the time - if it is legitimate - they could easily have told me what it was in regards to and we could have spoken like civilized people. Apparently, that isn't how they do business. Scare tactics and threats are an interesting way to collect money - I'm sure it works for them some of the time. They are breaking SEVERAL collections laws.

Even though this number is block, they were able to leave a partial voice mail, "at your earliest convenience". Not sure how that happened.

These people call from time to time. When I did call the number back--the person was very rude and unprofessional. She kept insisting for my credit care information to pay a debt, that I have no idea what she is talking about. I do not have any unpaid debt...if I did it would show on my credit report. Don't fall for the nastiness!
