Calling from credence resource management (Debt collector) reported by


This woman named MIA JOHNSON with a VERY thick Indian accent has been calling me for the past week. Be CAREFUL because they are calling from a different phone number (possibly a number from YOUR area) and stating that you owe them money. Anyway, She stated my name and an address of a person that I stayed at for a short term. When I asked where she is calling from, she stated "credence resource management". She NEVER left a voicemail for the past week of CONSTANTLY CALLING. She proceeded to tell me that I owed a total of $172 for at&t internet bill since may 2019-2020. She sounded almost real but not real enough! I am broke a mf too. I don't got time for this. Red flag #1: I am a broke mf who doesn't own any internet service. Red flag #2: I NEVER EVER had put my name under that address she mentioned. Red flag #3: She is calling from a phone number that is NOT even from the company she stated. Then she proceeded to tell me to call 855-876-5347 for further detail. I googled that number too and guess where it took me. no where but to sites like this where everyone dealt with the same scamming! Red flag #4: So she claims i owe money, but why hasn't there been any sort of mail or email coming in for me about it for the past years? LOL. Yes, I check my mails/email REGULARLY.

i answered the first time and they were asking probing questions. they finally said their name and when i asked who employed them they hung up. i looked up the name they used and the BBB is after them. they change one component of their name to get around the lawsuits against them.

I have received dozens or more calls from this number. When my husband retired and began looking for another job, we initially thought "Creedence Resources" was from a legitimate company. Once we determined they were fraudulent, we quit answering the phone, which was years ago! I blocked the number then received another call, then immediately received a call from a private number our of the area, which I believe is them. Throughout the work day, I receive numerous calls like this and frequently receive calls from them. I just bought new phones and now we're back to the same old scheme, because they're still using it. They never leave a voicemail.

Called 2x and stated they want to speak to me, i however dsid my name was bob...im not bob....i wanted to knkw who they were before i answer or tell them my real name. They never stated who they were, so they didnt get my real name.
